Click below to download the 2015 Charity Application.  Here are a few infrequently asked questions:

1.  When is the application due?  No later than February 29th.

2.  Will we be disqualified if we ask a question like "When is the application due" even though it clearly states that on the top of the application?  Most likely.

3.  What are your selection criteria?  Our goal is to look good and raise money for a local children's charity.  The looking good part comes naturally.  We look at the population you are serving, your connection to the greater Omaha area, and what type of impact our dollars may have on your organization's overall financial picture.  We also consider the creativity of the application.  We do things, er, differently.  We want our Charity Partner to be as excited for the adventure as we are.

4.  Is there an application fee?  No, but dammit why didn't we think of that?  If selected, we will require a marketing fee of 3% of the collected total at the end of the campaign to help offset our expenses.

5.  Can we meet with you to discuss our organization?  No.  We would love to meet with everyone because learning about all of the great charities in Omaha is one of the best parts for us.  However, due to our schedule and the number of applications we only allow submission of the application so everyone is on the same playing field.  If you have specific questions about the application you may send those to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

6.  How do the donations work?  We will have a "Donate Now" button on our homepage that will link directly to a dedicated donation page that you will create on your site.  We are a Nebraska non-profit corporation but we are not a 501(c)(3) designated entity.  We do not physically handle the donations.  We will require PayPal (we have had great success with this) or a similar functionality that will allow real time notification, etc. to our Board representatives as each donation comes in.  We handle thousands of online transactions in a very short time period so we may contact you during our deliberation process to discuss this further.
